The Prime Minister of New Zealand Jacinda Ardern said to extend for eight days of the ban on entry into the country for foreign nationals who have visited mainland China. Restrictions on the entry valid from 3 February.

"The travel restrictions from mainland China will act more in a period of eight days to protect from the spread of coronavirus COVID-19. This position as it was before, will be reviewed every 48 hours," said the Prime Minister.

New Zealand citizens will be able to return home, but on arrival in the country they have to isolate themselves from others for 14 days – the lifetime of a quarantine.
In New Zealand there hasn't been a single case of infection with the novel coronavirus.
