In Hong Kong the cat was confirmed to be coronavirus

Case of coronavirus detected in cats in Hong Kong, the owner of the animal was previously admitted to hospital with COVID-19, according to the world organization for animal health (OIE).
The cat was quarantined March 30, after the hospital was her boss, picked up a coronavirus. "After placing the cats in a quarantine centre she had taken swabs from the mouth, nose and rectal hole. All samples showed a positive result for SARS-CoV-2.

It notes that "the cat did not have any specific clinical symptoms."

"For this case, apply measures to reduce risks, including cleaning and disinfection of premises and personal hygiene and protection. Domestic mammals of households which have identified cases COVID-19 in humans, are quarantined and under veterinary supervision for 14 days", - stated in the OIE.
