First case of coronavirus identified by a local resident, who brought it from Italy. The man, whose name was not disclosed, is now in isolation at the Icelandic University hospital Landspitali. He tested positive for COVID-19. He displays typical symptoms of the disease: fever, cough, pain in the bones. Right now work is under way to study the route of the unfortunate Icelander to identify places where his casual companions could from it to get infected.
